About Me

Ann Marie DiSalvo

I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. I picked up a camera when I was a young teenager and have been photographing ever since. I was inspired by my grandfather, Daniel DiSalvo and his love for photography.

I started photographing portraits, weddings, our big Italian family gatherings, and nature. Once I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism with a minor in Film Studies & Business in 2017, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee.

I love traveling and connecting with various people, especially those in my local community. My ultimate love and passion for the environment is shown in a lot of my photos. I enjoy photographing people and nature while utilizing natural light. I work closely in my community and enjoy using my creative skills to help capture content for others need’s. My overall passion and goal is to create, express myself, inspire & connect with others because that’s the beauty of art & living life to its fullest.

Outside of my full-time career and my photography & writing, you can find me keeping busy with my various hobbies, such as training in Jiu-Jitsu, gardening, writing, going out with friends, taking walks with my dog, Moro or napping with my cat, Mushi.
