A.M. Diaries: An Introduction

This is an introduction to my new writing series, A.M. Diaries, which will be my personal morning writings on thoughts, ideas, and topics I love writing about.

What is A.M. Diaries? It’s a double meaning. A.M., being my name, Ann Marie, but also A.M. as morning time, because I do a lot of my writing in the mornings. My writing is how I process my day, writing out thoughts, ideas, feelings, and more. I have been feeling so much inspiration to share my writing lately, because why not? Do I care if anyone actually reads this? No. I just want to put my thoughts out into the world for fun, and if there is anyone who chooses to read and finds inspiration from it too, then amazing! I hope to post a new writing every week on various topics, thoughts, and tips that I enjoy and feel like you all would enjoy too.

Why do I enjoy writing? For those who don’t know me very personally, I have been writing since I was a child.  I have kept almost all of my journals since the start. My journals remind me of photographs and why I love both writing and photography for the same reasons. They are both like an imprint on history and a moment in time. I love documenting the many stages of my life to look back on and reflect. I encourage others to do the same in their own way. It has helped me a lot through my personal, creative work, and everyday life. They have helped me most especially in times of hardship, healing, and growth. (I’m sure I’ll write a piece on that topic in the near future.)

Overall, I hope you all find some inspiration through what I create. As humans, we thrive in community and sharing thoughts and ideas with others. This is why all forms of art are important to building a better world for us all to live and thrive. And everything I do is for my love of people, plants, and all living things. So with that, enjoy the A.M. Diaries.

With love,

A.M.D.
